MIG Welder / Fabricator

Job Type: Full-Time

Role Summary: We are looking for a skilled MIG Welder with at least 2 years of experience to join our custom exhaust team. At Barbee Auto, we don’t just "patch" cars— we build and restore them. You will focus on high-quality welding for custom exhaust systems, and catalytic converter replacements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform precision MIG welding on exhaust systems, and body panels.

• Fabricate custom exhaust piping and brackets using benders, grinders, and torches.

• Inspect welds for structural integrity and aesthetic finish (grinding/polishing as needed).

• Maintain welding equipment and ensure a clean, safe workspace.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of professional MIG welding experience (Automotive industry preferred).

• Ability to weld thin-gauge sheet metal without burn-through.

• Experience with exhaust system components (mufflers, resonators, catalytic converters).

• Willingness to assist with general mechanical tasks as needed.
